Six disciplines,
one team.
Strategy, brand, design, development, e-commerce and the care that keeps it all running. Take one of them or all six, and the people stay the same either way.
Strategy.
A written plan with priorities and prices before anyone opens Figma.
We start by learning how you actually make money: who buys, what they object to, where the current site or store loses them. That becomes an information architecture and a scope, not a slide deck that nobody opens again.
- — Digital audits and information architecture.
- — Product and UX strategy.
- — Brand strategy and positioning.
Brand & identity.
One system that holds up on an invoice, a billboard and a 320px screen.
We build brands as systems, not as logos. Type and colour first, applied to a real surface the same week. A small set of rules you can remember, with a few opinions baked in so the brand makes decisions for you.
- — Wordmark, symbol and core identity.
- — Typography and colour systems.
- — Guidelines and rollout.
Product & interface design.
Screens people understand without being taught. We design the path through first, then the system that keeps it consistent as you add to it.
We design websites and product surfaces that read at a glance and hold up on the second look. Type, colour, motion and layout come from one set of rules, so the fiftieth screen still matches the first. Built in Figma, prototyped in the browser, handed to engineering on the same team.
- — UX/UI design and prototyping.
- — High-fidelity UI and interaction.
- — Design systems and components.
Development & performance.
Fast pages that stay fast, and content your team can change without booking us first.
We build sites and web products that load quickly, age well, and stay easy to change. React and Astro on the front, small well-typed services behind. No microservices for the sake of it.
- — Frontend, from static sites to web apps.
- — CMS integration your team can actually use.
- — Performance, accessibility and observability.
E-commerce.
Online stores designed around how people actually buy, then kept working after launch.
Strategy, UX, design and development work together here to build the commerce experience: catalogue, product pages, checkout and the technology underneath it, built and improved by the same team over time. More on e-commerce.
- — E-commerce strategy, UX/UI and checkout design.
- — Custom e-commerce development and integrations.
- — Product catalogue architecture and performance.
Curator.
Hosting, security and monitoring on every tier, plus reserved design and dev hours from Pro up. You deal with the same team, and nothing goes through a ticket queue.
After launch, most clients move onto Curator. Hosting, security, backups and performance monitoring for both websites and e-commerce, and from Pro up a reserved block of design and dev hours every month, used however you want. We report every month on what they went into.
- — Hosting, security, backups, monitoring.
- — Reserved design and dev hours from Pro up.
- — Same people, no handoff.
Before you ask
Can we hire you for one discipline?
Yes. Most clients arrive for one thing, a redesign, a rebrand, a Curator plan, and pick up a second later. Single-discipline work is fine. It just goes better when at least two of them sit with the same team.
What if we only need the build?
Then we build. Hand over the designs and we ship them. You lose the part where design and engineering argue before anything gets drawn, which is usually where the time goes.
Will you work with our existing team?
We can. We do our best work when we own the whole process, because the handoff problem disappears when there is no handoff.
Can you start next week?
Usually no. Our bench runs 4-6 weeks out. The fastest way to find out is to write to us.
